Triumph is part of being competitive; "I’m an incredibly competitive person. I want to be successful despite what happened to me."
On November 16, 2021, Tim Chiarolanza was accidentally struck by a car
while chasing after his dog, Finn. He suffered multiple life-threatening injuries
including a ruptured aorta and a separated pelvis. However, the injury which still affects him today is a traumatic brain injury. The brain injury did not appear for three days following his traumatic event. He was life-flighted to Geisinger Medical Center, where he was given a 1% chance of survival. Because he was fortunate enough to survive such a disastrous accident, he, along with multiple others, has started an organization that will help people who also suffer from traumatic events.
Tim, his wife, Sarah, and their families are all working to begin an organization
designed to assist those who suffer from traumatic brain injuries, traumatic
events, as well as, strokes. The organization will be named, Triumph In Recovery. They were fortunate that their family and friends all pulled together to help them during their most dire time of need. They want to be able to assist people who are dealing with similar trials, but may not have access to the resources they were fortunate enough to acquire.
At our nonprofit, we are committed to displaying compassionate care and unwavering support to
individuals navigating the challenges of trauma recovery, stroke recovery, and traumatic brain injuries.
Through education, rehabilitation services, and community outreach, we aim to enhance the quality of life
and promote long-term recovery for those facing these challenges. Together, we envision a society where
every individual is embraced with empathy, empowered with opportunity, and supported on their journey
toward healing and renewal."
